Measuring a T-Shirt
Measuring a t-shirt that already fits you correctly is one of the quickest and easiest way to find the right size for your t-shirt purchase.
Find a t-shirt that fits you well, use it as a guide by laying it flat on a surface and measuring it.
Here’s how to do it step-by-step:
- Length (A): Measure from the top of the right collar down to the bottom hem. This helps you figure out the ideal length for your new t-shirt.
- Width (B): Measure one inch below the armpit from side seam to side seam. This gives you the t-shirt's width, ensuring a comfortable fit across your chest and shoulders.
- Sleeve (C): Measure from the top shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve. This helps you find the right sleeve length for your t-shirt.
Measuring your Torso Size for a Tee
If you don't have another tee that fits you well, then let's try to measure to torse for this new graphic t-shirt.
Stand up straight with your shoulders back and your head facing forward. Good posture will give you more accurate measurements. Keep your feet flat on the ground, shoulders back and down, and chin level with your eyes looking straight ahead.
